South London producer and synth wizard Dan Carey uses his electronic project alias Savage Gary to team up with London-based ominous electronic producer and DJ youngblackmale on new Speedy Wunderground track 'Cigarettes Pt.2', as part of the label's QUARANTINE SERIES. A pumping beat opens the track, followed shortly by a zealous synth pattern that hammers chords of ecstasy. The reverb on the snare could echo throughout a dozen under-motorway passages. younblackmale's spoken poetry is emotive and inspiriting, as he declares: "Cigarettes slowly killing me, but the music keeps me alive, and if i live til 35 I'll keep this bounce up in my stride...", and he later affirms, repeating the words: "And I won't die tonight". -Ellie Rose-Davies
